Weekend Update

I talked to Mom today... Dad's looking a lot better. She said his eyes aren't yellow anymore, he's not bloated like he was when he was up in ICU, and he was even sitting in a chair for about 15 minutes yesterday. He's lost a lot of muscle tone, but I guess that's to be expected. It'll come back with physio, etc... Mom actually talked to Dr. Stimpson yesterday, and he seems quite optimistic. Says that while dad will be on dialysis for awhile, he expects dad's kidneys to fully recover. Not sure if he's blowin smoke up mom's arse to shut her up, but we can only hope that's not the case. That said, if he's going to be on dialysis for a while, apparently the best bet is to leave him in the Wpg hospital, as the list for outpatient dialysis in Dauphin is loooooooooooong. Wunnerful.
