I don't want to get too optimistic...

... but mom said that they're going to move dad down to step-down tonight, or tomorrow (whenever a bed becomes available)!! Yay dad :) He's still getting dialysis almost daily, but his breathing is improving, and they're going to try moving him out of the bed and into a chair tomorrow. Good signs, in my book. Mom's back in Winnipeg as of this afternoon. I hope by the time she gets to the hospital tomorrow, he's out of ICU and back on the step-down unit. Keep your fingers crossed for him!! :)
