Early morning phone calls...

... suck. Mom called at 7:30 this morning (5:30 in MB) - she's on her way back to Winnipeg today. Dad's having surgery to empty his bowels, as 1.5 weeks after surgery, and nothing's working yet, bowel-wise. I was still half-asleep, so I have no clue when the surgery is, or any other details, but I just wish I could be there. I know I have to get on with my life, but still. So hard to be this far apart...
