Surgery's scheduled...

Well, I just spoke to mom. Dad's surgery is scheduled for first thing Tuesday morning. I definitely won't be able to be there for surgery, but at least that part will be over within the week. Depending on the results of tomorrow's scan, he might still need radiation or chemo. I spoke to Kim earlier, and she suggested he push for treatment in Saskatoon rather than Winnipeg (if it can't be done in SR). I'm so glad she thought of that. Just as easy to fly to Saskatoon as it is to fly to Winnipeg, and then they'd be staying with family. If I can't be there with them, at least they'd be with family. Have I mentioned how much it sucks being half a country away??? Gah :(
